The two British professionals are set to square off in the biggest fight of the year so far and it’s already shaping up to be a tasty encounter.

Anticipation is growing for the all-British heavyweight boxing bout between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte which is set to take place later this month.

The victory took his record against the Bronze Bomber to two wins and a draw in an epic trilogy of encounters and his overall career record now stands at 31 wins and a draw in 32 bouts.

Whyte has been out of action since March 2021 when the Jamaican-born heavyweight defeated Alexander Povetkin by TKO, avenging his loss to the Russian in August of the previous year.

Fury was expected to look to fight Ukrainian star Oleksandr Usyk, who currently holds the unified WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles after defeating Anthony Joshua in September, in his next outing.

But instead, the 33-year-old will defend his belt against Whyte, who has 28 wins and two losses in 30 career fights.

When is Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte?

The fight will take place on Saturday, April 23.

Ring walks for the matchup are scheduled anytime between 10 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.

Where are Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte fighting?

Wembley Stadium is set to host the heavyweight bout.

This will be the first time either fighter has stepped out at the 90,000-seat venue, although Fury has fought at Wembley Arena on several previous occasions.

Both have plenty of experience across the capital at London’s 02 Arena, while Whyte has previously fought in front of 78,000 fans at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium under Anthony Joshua’s card against Carlos Takam.

Who fights on the undercard?

The undercard is almost entirely set for the Wembley Stadium event and will feature a number of household names.

Tommy Fury, Tyson’s younger brother and former contestant on the ITV reality show Love Island, is set to fight Poland’s Daniel Bocianski in a Light Heavyweight bout.

There is also another British heavyweight fight as David Adeleye takes on Chris Healey.

The official pre-fight press conference is scheduled to take place tonight, Thursday April 14, on Zoom.

These encounters are well known for being fiery and usually see strong words exchanged between the two fighters.
