Kildare Nationalist – Hotel Naas relaunches historic ballroom as wedding venue


Lawlor’s of Naas, located in Poplar Square in downtown Naas, was known nationwide for its famous Lawlor’s Ballroom located in Millbrook. Opened in the 1930s, the famous ballroom has hosted big events that have been gathered by generations from across the country. The ballroom will be relaunched in early 2022 as a luxury 4-star wedding and conference venue in the expanded hotel.

The expansion has a double height entrance and 74 additional bedrooms (bringing the total to 138). The interior features restored antiques from historic buildings around the world, from the reused bronze heating grates of Christ Church Cathedral to the brass doors of a Las Vegas safe.

The extension has two wedding spaces to choose from; Lawlor’s Ballroom and private gardens with a capacity of 420 people for a sit-down dinner or The Glending Suite with a capacity of 250 people for a dinner.
