FBLA Place at Pine Bluffs Middle School at the State Leadership Conference

Future American business leaders from Pine Bluffs Middle School attended the State Leadership Conference in Douglas, Wyoming at the state fairgrounds on March 1, 2022. Seven students were in attendance at Pine Bluffs.

They participated in ten divisions.

The first student is Hattie Lerwick. She won first place in Business Etiquette, second place in Critical Thinking (team), third place in Elevator Speech and fourth place in Exploring Technology.

Avery Sweeter ranked second in Critical Thinking Skills (Team), second in Interpersonal Communication Skills, and second in Leadership.

Keefer Fornstrom placed second in Critical Thinking. (Team)

Avery Gray placed second in the FBLA Principles.

Avery Head ranked second in digital citizenship and fourth in interpersonal communication.

Karli Person ranked third in FBLA Principles and third in Leadership.

Paighton Romsa ranked first in Introduction to Financial Literacy and first in Learning Strategies.

It was hard work that deserves extra kudos for a job well done.

Mary Jacobsen had this to say about her students: “I would like to congratulate the girls who participated in the State Leadership Conference. I’m super proud of these girls who stepped out of their comfort zone to do something ‘different.’ . .”
