Diversity Ally, a diversity and inclusion organization for events, MICE and the hospitality industry, has announced that the Greenwich-based ship Cutty Sark will host its first awards next year.
The awards, which take place on April 26, 2022, aim to celebrate and recognize equality, diversion and inclusion in the industry.
Claire Bastin, Events Manager, Royal Museums Greenwich, said: “It is with great pleasure and pride that the sites of the Royal Museums of Greenwich will host the first Diversity Ally, Diversity in Events Awards in April 2022. As As champions of diversity in industry events, we look forward to celebrating the accomplishments and talents of our industry peers.
Gabrielle Austen-Browne, Co-Founder of Diversity Ally, added, “We are delighted to announce that Cutty Sark will be our partner for our inaugural awards. Nominations for the awards are open to companies, organizations, brands and individuals and the categories include “Diverse Events Team of the Year”, “Best D&I Initiative” and “Diversity Champion of the Year”.
