(Stats Perform) – As expected, Championship week unfolded in FCS college football.
A number of conference titles have been won over the last full weekend of the regular season, including head-to-head matches to determine the champions in the Deep South (Kennesaw State defeated Monmouth 49-17) and the Conference of the South (ETSU edged Mercer 38-35).

All FCS conferences except the Ivy League participate in playoffs. The 24-team national qualifiers are made up of 11 conference champions who have automatic offers and 13 general offer selections, with the pairs due to be announced on Sunday (12:30 p.m. EST, ESPNU). The MEAC and SWAC champions will meet at the Celebration Bowl on December 18 in Atlanta.
